Arrived in Singapore recently and I'm quite impressed with the public transportation system here. My base is the slow Metro transit in Los Angeles and the over crowded system in Manila.

I always thought the slogan was odd. In my mind evil is the absolute negative end of the spectrum of good vs evil. Why not something more positive sounding like "Do good"?

They didn't claim to not be a business in the blog post. They are a non-profit business. They still need to earn money to pay bill, pay employees, etc. "Being a non-profit means that the company has no shares. I don't own it.

So that explains why there are so many OPPO and VIVO phone stores in Manila malls. I always viewed them as a crappy brands but I'm quite impressed to see that they are part of the second largest mobile phone maker.

I don't understand why people say Uber is not at fault. 1.) The lidar system should have detected the woman with plenty of time to dodge her. The car could have manoeuvred to the empty lane to avoid the collision.
