Another interesting tidbit of Maine news is that a municipal Portland election ended in a tie in the final round of ranked choice voting. Around ~19,000 votes total. By state law they'll resolve the tie by drawing lots at the city hall

Ironically, much of the funding for 'Yes' (which was in opposition to the new power lines) was provided by a nuclear reactor in New Hampshire that didn't want to compete against the lower electricity rates this would bring.

I agree. Also, those who claim it's more reliable than alternatives seem to have no qualms installing a native app. Like-for-like comparison with browser-based alternatives doesn't perform favorably.

VR Optician now accepts an ASX for astigmatism correction. I don't think it adds to the base $69 USD cost. Prism corrections for $50 more.

I also blinked at that. But then took it to mean constitutionally in a pure sense - whether they can keep a strength of belief enough to follow through. Unrelated to 'The Constitution' from a US citizen's point of view. Altho

That's not a fair reading. You're conflating success with scale, something the parent post explains has a fractal of unwanted externalities.
