I had heard it's more about SEO. Put some filler on the page to make the article looking enough for the search engine to think it's intereting.

Maybe "wicked problem" is the new tech buzzword, but browsers certainly are one, and Mozilla messed it up. I blame Mitchell Baker for a big chunk. We don't need a new browser though. We need a new web. https://e

Ah ok, $120, then $85 may have been the 8GB version. I remember being annoyed that to get the NVMe slot in the 500, I would have had to buy the 500+ with 16GB of ram and the mechanical keyboard, neither of which I wanted. It was at the ti

I've only used Mypy so maybe I should try some more typecheckers. But I've found Mypy and the annotations it uses don't get in the way much, and they make function signatures usable as documentation, so they're generall

This isn't exactly news, that model has been at $350 for a while. It's not like RPi suddenly introduced a 16GB model at a ridiculous price due to having forgotten about low cost stuff. The 16GB model was originally $85 iirc. The

I would say it's not statistically independent. See https://scottaaronson.blog/?p=304 item #1. So we get to add another exception, which is fine.

I thought the cool way to do this was reverse each sub-block in place, and then reverse the whole vector. If you draw a few diagrams you can see that accomplishes the rotation. Yes it moves everything twice, but it has near perfect cache

As long as the flying spaghetti monster is still on the list, I'm fine. First they came for the Buddhists, then they came for the Abrahamics, then the Zoroastrians, but it will be a while yet before they get to me.

You didn't like Purescript? It looked pretty cool to me. Its main competition back in the day was Elm, but Typescript has now taken over. From a distance Typescript seems to have too many gaps. I haven't used it though.
