I had an issue with the title but the article addresses the issue. It isn't just the higher price tag. It's the thermals and power management that comes with having a separate modem as well as the price tag.

you missed a step. - verify backup. Goes right after make a backup. Edit: I must say, when I have to send my machine in, I backup using TM, but I also image my drive.

Why would they? Do they pay you back when your ISP can't provide enough bandwidth for 4K? How much is 4K on top of regular Netflix service? Is it worth worrying about?

How soon until we find out the EU was nudged to do this by ISPs that can't handle the network load and want to push blame? I mean, everyone knows that Netflix already uses available bandwidth measuring to adjust bitrate/quality.
