No, these are equivalent. The size of the objects is implicitly taken into account by the compiler, it knows the size of the objects by the type of the pointer.

asm.js was a thing before WebAssembly, with the same downsides, except maybe a little less browser support for debugging, inspecting, etc. asm.js was able to exist without browser support in Chrome, so WebAssembly support doesn't reall

We're getting there, HTTP is going to be marked as insecure in the future as well. It's just the massive amount of HTTP sites that couldn't get marked as insecure before, due to the then resulting warning fatigue in users.
