I haven’t seen any “China can’t silicon”. They are catching up sure, and they will eventually do 7nm well, but it seems like instead of praising China for progression, the pro-China people are like “see the west sucks China has 7nm!!!” When

That’s simply not true. Release day of iPhone 15 had people queued at the door and sold out online. Release day of Mate 60 saw Huawei stores empty. I trust the live videos on the release day providing more evidence of demand that sales numb

“Rhetoric” There’s no rhetoric. When you phrase things this way it just makes you sound like an anti-USA pro-China troll.

It’s naive to think Xi is not powerful. If he had less power than the CCP he would have been removed for all the disastrous decisions he’s made with covid and other aspects of the economy.

USB-C spec is not very clear. And even in cases where it is clear. It’s not followed. There’s so many bad cables around. Cables that work on 1 device but not another, cables which do data and not PD, cables that do PD and not data, USB-C ha

I know you love the CCP and try your best to defend them, doesn’t change the fact that one of the primary reasons for the protests was the security law which came from Beijing.

In Taiwan it’s called Taiwanese. It’s similar to Hokkien which is why it’s often referred to as Taiwanese Hokkien. But it’s not 1:1. And people outside of Taipei will assume you speak it and understand it.

China was forcing HK to accept China laws and HK didn’t want it. They protested. Don’t try and and make it sound like HK were just randomly protesting nothing.

Anyone who thinks companies using sms are to blame for sim-swap attacks are idiots. Allowing sim swap without any sort of verification is the issue. You cannot just sim swap in countries outside of America.

I live in Asia. Have lots of high quality Chinese products. My point is China doesn’t do a lot of the up front R&D. They ride off the back of copies. But they are really good at improving them.
