Austin isn't cheap when you look at the nation overall, but for tech hotspots it's still a bargain. I chalk it up to being a democratic city in a deeply republican state. Lack of regulation coupled with low taxes, great combo if y

I share a similar life story so far. As soon as I graduated I moved to NYC. I loved it, it was the most alive I've ever felt in my life. I lived there for 4 months and every day after work I walked around and marveled at a city so mass

It's still positive karma but barely. Honestly anybody that says you can "cure" or "treat" the homeless has never dealt with them. In a wealthy society like most western countries you don't stay homeless for lo

The best solution to a homeless problem is to move them somewhere else and make your location less attractive. You can't cure the homeless and crazy and trying to a waste of money. Either put them back in mental wards or accept that th

The best thing about Typescript is that if it dies one day you can compile down one last time to pure, human readable, JS and toss it out. There's literally no reason to not use typescript

Your comment neglects to mention that Typescript debugging is generally easy because one of the design goals of typescript is to produce javascript that matches what a developer would write. Debugging javascript produced by Babel is general

Javascript is meh, it's HTML and CSS that are the real culprits for the crazy inefficient GUI rendering. HTML was great for what it was designed for, but we're ten years beyond that. Something will come in and replace HTML, it
