for shorts i use youtube-shorts block. the key thing is it plays it as a normal video, but you can also block/hide shorts.

Having your rules based on % of marketplace usage is terrible... just one reason (out of many) is that is a moving target. Unbelievable (believable?) shortsightedness. I guess we're back to IE5 days. Everything is circular ehhh?

of course. most of my friends have switched to chrome just because of these "oopses" or niggles. switch to chrome and "it just works". it's not just google here... a lot of heavy javascript sites just don't

In India, the cars give a warning sound after crossing a certain speed. It is dumb and annoying. No one cares. Just another "safety" regulation that increases the prices for us.

Zelle is ok for known people (face to face), friends, and family, but i don't trust using it for complete stranger's email or phone number. I wonder if Zelle could be feeling competition from fednow?

What I expect is that if he doesn't know, then he says so and says he will get the correct answer to the question quickly. I also expect, post-hearing (and soon thereafter, not four years later if ever), that google "update"

You're not wrong saying that javascript is pretty much mandatory, but it's more de facto. To come out and mandate it would be wrong. Unfortunately the web is in a state that's worse than just javascript... it's regresse

I'd recommend people opt for ground installations if possible. Attaching and maintaining devices on your roof should be thought about carefully.

Pick battles that you have a chance of winning. That's to say: dual boot. The only reason I boot into windows is for windows-only games. Life gets a little less stressful when you have some options and choices.

You brought up my pet peeve... it's really difficult for me to shop for sports/outdoorwear. I absolutely can't stand being a walking billboard. The worst part is I'm paying to be one. grrrr.

The ability to just switch -I to -D to delete the rule is something I miss in nftables. I used that all the time.
