I look at prison as separating people with anti-social behaviour from the rest of society. Rehabilitation/punishment for the individual is irrelevant.

Success; that is the theory. Prosperity supposes capacity. Win in the lottery, and you are an able man. The victor is venerated. Have but luck, and you will have the rest; be fortunate, and you will be thought great. Beyond the five or six

Well, an ambiguous Sudoku is like a 12 line sonnet... It isn't computationally relevant but even if trial and error were a simpler approach I feel like that is not in the spirit of the game. Sudoku is a number maze, the goal is to backtrack

I can vouch for this based on my own experience, my wallet seemed safer by itself on the train than in my pocket in any other country. OTOH, every school girl gets felt up on the train.

TBH I'm more interested in the social impact evidence of alien life would have, rather than the scientific one. Evidence of panspermia early in Earth's history would be interesting, but I am not sure it would actually teach us much. OTOH th

When you play online, it limits you to X rolls or Y times past GO, and then whoever has the highest net worth wins. It is a much faster game, and it makes betting on it a lot of fun. Of course, the game is solved so it's almost pure gamblin
