I imagine that while it doesn't need to be this vicious for humans, they have evolved this to deal with other large animals. Humans tend to avoid getting bitten so we haven't evolved the defences other animals have. We are pretty

I'd no idea she'd written a book. Thanks Ben! As I said her blog was great, I read the entire thing in a single sitting. Edit. Other sister. Still, I'll give it a look. Talented family you have there.

If fictional media is anything to go by, the single defining aspect of human intelligence is love. This is the last bastion of human understanding that is incomprehensible to evil, machines and aliens.

I can see how this could be useful on a cross-country trek, on the ISS, or in areas where clean water in short supply. For the rest of us though, showers and baths are too much fun to give up. I'd still shower every day if it were bad

Hmm, but also nothing stopping pirates from looting cargo. Then again, they could just be floating fortresses. Perhaps if it takes long enough to steal cargo aerial support could intervene.

Here's an idea: get rid of voicemail completely. The only person, the ONLY person I know who has used mine is my father, and his message is always "Sorry I missed you, call me when you can." Which I know already, thanks.
