Have not heard the name xfire in a long long time. It was the initial (IIRC) defacto gaming messaging service back in the early 2000s. You could download skins (like Winamp) and it would track game time hours and show running game status.

UX workflow architecting, low/high-fidelity prototyping, etc... You seem to be sharing only _your_ anecdotal experience.

Just cancelled my prime and set to not auto-renew a week or so ago. As I was doing that, I noticed the pricing was going to increase by ANOTHER $20 USD, from $120 currently, to $140. I've been getting so many delivery delays lately it&

I think this pretty much sums it up. If you have a skilled team with deep domain knowledge, you can afford to not be as detailed in the planning process as the team is most likely already aligned. If you have a skilled team without deep dom

Just going to echo that I've JUST switched to Mint from T-Mobile. Once they removed the Apple pay discount, I realized I was paying $75/mo when I'm mostly on Wifi at home anyway. I also didn't realize that T-Mobile bough

I personally still use old.reddit, but no longer browse reddit on mobile, which was by far the largest usage of my screen time.

If you rent and/or move often, paper books can be a considerable issue due to weight and space. Though I love the smell and feel of them. Also, an e-reader backlight is such a great advancement for bedtime reading with a partner.

That's a great point. I did get into the Murderbot Diary novellas this year and it's unfair (by page count) that they count as full books in the challenge. I will say, when I'm using my e-reader, I use a percentage as guidanc

I feel the same. Mainly use it for a platform to track what I've read. I do enjoy giving short reviews for books that call for them, but I don't make it a priority after completing a book. I'm a huge fan of the discovery (sci

Going to echo Shagie. Even early 2010's full stack was WAMP, MAMP, LAMP stacks + HTML/CSS/JQuery. Or .net/webforms, java, etc.

Ancedotal experience from a 35 yo here. Growing up in Metro Detroit, there were "Main Streets" in most of the Cities/townships and IIRC it's a pretty common term. I'd argue most people under 60 and 50 know what &quo

I'm going to echo you, $75/mo for a better Roomba imo is wild. I am very impressed by the custom SLAM and the privacy focused, but it's a reoccurring subscription I couldn't justify. Curious who their target demographics

Yea, I find this article kind of weird in the number of comments it has drawn. Low-fidelity wire framing for workflows has been a UX/UI standard for like a decade now.
