Isn't addons.mozilla.org written in CakePHP? They might need open source helpers. If you did the same sort of thing for the Code Igniter framewor, then we'd be willing to help/donate a tad bit in that endeavor.

Part of our service is our search engine (a web app), but we also develop desktop-integrated tools, command-line utilities, and language libraries to help capture and share error message workarounds.

I agree with you on every point. I hate gauntlet interviews/interviewing and the questions should definitely be targeted towards hire/nonhire. Only I don't think you meant this the way it sounded, so just to be clear: "does the candidate kn

I don't know if I topped-out, but I did lose interest. Calc III felt hard with not very much useful information (my comp sci advisers basically gave me grief for taking it). Linear Algebra sparked my interest again, but only because it star

I've had the "fun" of having to do low-level hacking and troubleshooting on PCs for portions of the last 15 years or so. If you've had to try to make sense of Windows internals, you've almost certainly had to use one of Sysinternals tools l

I'm not referring to cryptography, I'm referring to security in the general sense. Security is fundamentally about placing obstacles between your assets and those who you don't want to use/alter/control those assets. When you design softwar

I'm not sure why you're treating my comment as an argument to reject security (or to reject anything other than your specific wording choice). I'm just saying that security, fundamentally, is about making obstacles. There's nothing implied

Security is nothing but an obstacle course. The only time security is not merely an obstacle course is when you completely destroy the thing you're trying to protect. This is fundamentally something everyone needs to understand about comp

We had a very positive experience with 99designs. We offered $200 awards to the top 2 entries for logo design and got 140 or so submissions/revisions from 36 different designers. We had a very difficult time narrowing it down from the top 1

I miss Nomic. I played a few games of it back in, wow, 1995? There were a good number of people playing online versions like Ackanomic and Internomic. Great game with lots of high-level cleverness.
