"I do want to keep using it but have no idea what's the point." Pretty much. Twitter covers my need to follow people not within my immediate network. And 99% of my friends primarily post on Facebook.

"I don't know the law by name, but a contractor can only be kept on for a period of 6 months to a year. After that, they must be made full-time or removed. After a cool-down period, they can be rehired." Is that true? I know of contractors

My friends have had a very different experience. It's much more comfortable to hold on the couch, at the cafe, in bed, or on the plane/car than being on a laptop.

Part of me feels like that in order to bring people back, they need to change the name. IE has had such an awful reputation for the last decade or so.

Have you tried Newslook? It's news video from third parties (i.e. Reuters) curated by editors.

My experience has been the opposite. Since I'm not on the lease and in some of these cases, can't move all my stuff in (because it's already furnished or the term is short), I shouldn't have to pay full price. When I've sublet my place to f

The prices do seem pretty high. A great room in a shared apt Williamsburg/Greenpoint on Craigslist could be had for anywhere between 1000-1500 and the ones I see listed on Airbnb are like 1600 and above for either the same amenities or even

Useless is definitely too strong. What's the percentage of users who manually change their font size? Is it the majority? Because if it's not, then I'd hardly call it "useless."

Except that in most agencies, designers don't code. So they spend 8-10 hours a day doing design. Learning how to code does enhance work but it doesn't mean that you'll necessarily be a better designer than someone who doesn't know how to co

"Any time you have worked long hours, it is a sign of a broken process." I hate absolute statements like these. Some of my best works have come from working long hours voluntarily.

I bought a Macbook vertical dock so that I close my laptop and connect it to two monitors, a keyboard, and a tablet and effectively use it like a desktop. That basically solves 1, 2, 4. 3 doesn't bother me because I have my headphones on mo
