The iPad is all about user experience. I like the design, typ and details like the dingbats in the title field. Keep up the good work.

The optionally static types in the Dart language seems like a good idea. You get both beautiful, simple code, like in Ruby, and the possibility to speed up execution by adding types later. On the other hand, you still don't have the great c

If you don't like GitHubs pricing model, just download and install Gitorious on your own server. It's open source.

It's more convenient with a minified source layoung around somewhere. Also it's quite small: (function(a){function j(a){d=a||"all"}function i(a,c,d){var g,h;d===undefined&&(d=c,c="all"),a=a.replace(/\s/g,""),g=a.split(","),g.forEach

Liked the down to earth tips. Websites like this are really design products. If it's not graphic design, it's service design. The technical stuff is comes second.

I noticed lots of the background CGI is architectural elements. We'll probably see this techniques used by architects to visualize their projects with moving images that includes real people.

The streets here in Oslo is filled with patrolling soldiers now. Normally you only see a few policemen, and they are almost always unarmed. The guy they have arrested for the massacre may face 21 years in prison.

I really like the constraints you set on your project: "Build a CMS, no forms allowed". Aloha and other wysiwyg editors can hide the CMS almost totally. Using RDFa to store content is not a bad idea.

Yes it probably would. The API is also accessible from client side javascript. So you could create admin pages in 100% javascript like in HiFi.

The simplest way to design an API, is to use an existing one. I work with a CMS where JSON documents are posted using the WebDAV protocol. Settings for documents and folders are all set with the PROPPATCH verb. The WebDAV protocol has defin

I like the feature-as-app paradigm, but the article says nothing about the underlying API. I have used a CMS the last couple of years at work, where documents are stored as JSON files on the server using WebDAV protocol, which off course is

Great tutorial if you want to create buttons form scratch in photoshop with and use css sprites. What I would like to see, is a simple javascript api on top to generate all the nitty gritty css in the browser. That's excatly what sproutcore

Looks good. BTW. Does anyone know any good web based sql modeling tools? If not, jsplumb would be a good basis for the gui part.

The combo SQLlite locally and PostgreSQL on server works great. I don't want any funny business logic in my database. SQLLite Manager for Firefox works well as a RDBMS.

Gitorious is both a free site and an open sourced project web app. Strange this hasn't been mentioned before in this thread.

This is quite useful when you don't remember the name of a tag. With html5 there's lots of new tagnames to remember.
