Probably something to do with the fact that central government has cut budgets for the last 10 years and if putting some banner ads on their website contributes to keeping a library open, it’s hard to say no.

One implementation of SAP I’ve used marked items requiring attention in green, and completed/finished items as yellow/red.

I really wanted this to be about Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Limited rather than Rolls-Royce Holdings plc. A nuclear-powered Rolls-Royce Phantom would be incredibly boss.

> Poverty doesn't make you free. Incredibly true. People who have the fortune to believe that ‘personal choice’ reigns supreme can’t imagine what it’s like when you only have one choice.

Sorry if facts hurt you, but if you look at the source and reference, it’s pretty clear it’s a disaster.

If you like the cases and want an alternative, the Muji ones are probably better in a lot of ways, and Muji have shops.

Hugo is super, but the official docs make it look a lot scarier than it is. It’s a solid static site builder with a lot of power under the hood.

People often forget all of Jobs’ failures and blame Cook for all of Apple’s woes. Jobs let many products stagnate, just the same as Cook.

I have the same problem in Japan. Certain times of the day DDG seems like it’ll never load and I normally switch to Google after about 4 or 5 seconds.

I was a big fan back in the day, but I really don’t want to use jQuery anymore. I now use Bulma because it’s one of the better ones not to force a JavaScript framework on you. You can make it as complex (or as simple) as you like.

I find exactly the same thing. Hugo is perfect for me, it does exactly what I want it to do and has all the features I’ve wanted in a static site builder, but despite having used it for a couple of years, I still cannot find what I’m lookin

If you use Apple’s App Store you’ll notice that they have provided exactly zero markup to help you make your changelogs. I think the only thing it respects is line breaks. And I’m kind of okay with that after seeing this mess.

I cancelled my NYT subscription because of that article last week, and cited it as the reason. Might have to take something for my schadenfreude.

What’s funny about the bottom navigation menu is that’s how iOS was designed from the start. All the first apps (pre-App Store) and the first wave of App Store apps all used it. Then apps started to get busy, so the bottom menu was removed.
