With the exception of the newly-departed UK , has there been any EU state(s) that performed consistently better than others? The UK is doing better with vaccines, but yeah, it didn't do any better during the pandemic.

Really? Autoupdates are why we don’t have to code for Chrome 12 today. Autoupdates are awesome, just not for business, sometimes.

You make no sense. No one will pay $25 to clean a single room in a hotel. Just because your room is $150 it doesn’t mean that “there’s plenty to pay everyone 100k/year.

GitHub is owned by Microsoft but as far as I know it operates pretty independently. Let’s hope it stays that way.

1. Seeing a website without CSS is not really something people are concerned about. 2. I want a graph, not a table. SVG is self-contained so WYSIWYG, always. 3. If you want to show both a graph and a table, with Charts.css your markup would

I love linters and formatters. Often languages carry baggage and other “bad parts” that linters help you avoid. For someone who’s not used to them they might feel annoying (e.g. why should I wrap every $() in quotes?! Ugh) but once you acce

The site is literally about CSS color names for 256-bit colors, it’s not a palette site with beautiful colors. This is a ridiculous feature request, but I can’t say I’m not used to this.

Again, by your definition, every non-fixed-width HTML page could be called responsive. I don’t think so. Responsive does include other methods as well, but nobody looks at a CSS-less page and calls that responsive because the text always

This is the kind of enhancements a browser should offer. I can’t believe how low-level the whole experience of browser is. Occasionally they add useful features like the reader mode and translations, but we get one of those every 7 years an

To you it's just a game, to Rockstar GTA is literally a multi-billion dollar product with a household name that politicians talk about. I can't believe you're missing this huge point.

The advantage is that you write HTML/data and get a nice chart, whereas with SVG you need something to process the data, either in the browser with JS or locally with any graphing tool. Given the weight and quality, I’d advise against

If CSS is disabled SVG works just as well. I don’t know where you got the idea that SVG doesn’t work without CSS (or JS, for that matter)

That’s not responsive. That just means scalable. Responsive means that it changes shape depending on size. By your definition any bitmap is “responsive” SVG can’t really be responsive since values are generally declared as attributes. Good

Losing customers over such a simple, known problem, over years… is tragic for a company like Rockstar. This is like Microsoft ignoring a bug that made Windows take 10 minutes to start and just letting that happen for 5 years. Now tell me th

Apple should really stop allowing abuse of their APIs, from custom photo pickers that nobody needs (remember, if your app uses the default photo picker, it doesn't need any permission at all) to any app that decides to include a genera

It depends on what you use it for. I only use it to access a non-personal library, but Google Photos still shows all of my local photos in every account. That renders the app useless for me. Google Photo only wants to be a full replacement

The cause doesn’t actually matter much, usually one doesn’t know the issue until they investigate. So often issues remain open for lack of interest, then someone finally does and it’s a missing comma. This doesn’t affect the fact that the i

I disagree. They ignored the issue for years and that part won’t be erased from memory. They should be given credit for finally fixing it, but nothing more. What happened before this week was and remains forever shameful.

If a service uses SPID, you need SPID. The SPID login screen doesn’t offer “National ID card” as an option. Some services may offer alternative logins, but my guess is that they’ll be phased out like INPS is phasing out PIN-based logins.
