   I was nearly in the same position as you once but it never came to reality within the company. I never left and did it myself either. If I was in your shoes I would stay within the company and do it.

   I've never taken part in a Hackathon but I thought it was all about building something. Creating a story seems very much like fluff. That's not something I would be interested in

   These posts come up often on HN and I always comment in agreement. I am the same. I have 7+ years experience and have worked on successful projects. I rarely have bugs in production (I can't remember any actually). I maintain projects

   Angular for the frontend makes the most sense to me. React and Svelte are good but you need to bring in a lot more supporting libraries for more complex libraries.

   It's a good idea but you will run into the following issues: * Your users won't have enough data * Your users will have bad data * Your users will have sensitive data that they can't upload * Your model would need to be tweak

    Restrictions on normal life are pretty much gone in my country and most people I encounter are ignoring them. I plan to travel this year after August.
