I'm aware of that. However since the service in question only seems to handle the business to consumer case, I don't see a need for asking for seller's country.

Is there any reason to ask for the country of the business/seller? As far as I know it's irrelevant and the VAT only depends on the buyer's country (for digital goods/services).

When selling physical goods B2C within the european union the VAT rules of the seller's country apply. That means shoes shipped from Germany to Ireland come with the german VAT of 19%. However the sevice discussed in this submission

Great suggestion. It's easy to forget the problems non-tech small businesses face when you spend your days on HN. As someone who works at a company that deals with these small businesses I see it everyday. For many of them providing si

Right, kind of disappointing that the author relied on Wifi. To draw any conclusions about the provided bandwidth I'd only trust measurements made using a wired ethernet connection. Wifi depends on too many variables.

While this may seem like an obvious observation, I have yet to see a cloud storage service that does it as well as Dropbox. And that includes attempts by huge companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Google and Apple.

Of course, you're right - in my country they are both Netflix-exclusives and it's easy to forget that it doesn't necessarily mean original content. Still, it emphasizes my point.

It's ironic then that I regard House Of Cards' early seasons, particularly Season 1, as Netflix' best content to date. To me it felt as if they really aimed for a masterpiece. These days they seem to be fine with catering to

House Of Cards was very, very promising in its early seasons. It almost felt like a future alltime favorite, but declined after Season 1. Better Call Saul is shaping up very nicely and Fargo turned out to be better than I expected. Other th

Even for sets and mixes I think Mixcloud is way ahead of Soundcloud. Unfortunately I constantly see significantly less engagement for my content over there.

How else would a subscription service work? If you bought your music instead of renting it you'd truly own it without DRM or any other strings attached. As a very frequent music buyer, I'd say the situation is very comfortable and

Prices for used Wii Us are around 200 EUR in my region. I'd say that's not a bargain and makes the idea of a new Switch for an extra 100 bucks way more attractive.
