I've never seen a 1st gen apple watch with burn in, even. Mine is a bit over two years old. Apple seems to buy the absolute best quality displays, and have good control logic/orbiting/etc to prevent it. I use mine heavily, al

There are, but they're completely overwhelmed and have enormous waiting lists. There's also large issues with basically every attempt to construct housing being blocked, because no one wants it near their house

This has the common newer era iOS issue though of, yea it works pretty good but it completely fails the "will you figure it out on your own" test. Someone had to show me, and all my friends had no idea it was even a thing. The old

I know in some areas a large part of this has been neighborhood opposition to development/NIMBY stuff. For example a bunch of projects in Roosevelt, including i believe one to redo the old QFC just off 65th were held up in asinine argu

I would honestly switch back to a 13 if i could get a real quad core in it. All my work is purely CPU stuff, so all the GPU does is cook my legs and waste battery(and some apps that absolutely have no business switching on the dGPU still do

I have a 2012 and a 2009 here. The keys on the previous to retina generation feel way better than the original retina, and the keys on the new one are way crappier than that. The retina was decent, the old(1st gen black chicklet keys) one w

This is going to be a great budget phone when it's getting cleared out on various sites for $3-400 early to mid next year. At $700 it just can't compete, especially with a mediocre camera, but once it drops under $500 then it'

i was hoping a restore would mitigate this... but nope so far on 11.0.1 all morning(and after charging up during and after the update, and doing a fresh restore of 11.0 just last night) it doesn't seem any better at all. This is on a 6

You would need a nicer spike protector or isolation transformer(s) to do anything here, honestly. a basic surge protector wouldn't cut it

Yea i agree here. A lot of this is up to taste, but the way it captures the fabric, especially the translucency, is a HUGE leap from anything i've seen out of a phone. The way the light plays off of and through it is something i'v

Alternative answer: This prevents your phone from completely dying if you turn the light on, forget, and shove it in your pocket/bag. That's a great feature in and of itself. Hell, i've accidentally triggered the flashlight

At least in the past, they've been stupendously locked down with bootloaders that were almost impossible to crack. There's be a version or two that was crackable, and then nearly every one purchased would be newer than that.

The wild thing is, apple kind of already did this with handoff, and the iOS/OSX syncing. If my phone is ringing in the kitchen, and i have my laptop with me on the couch i'll get an alert and i can answer the call on my laptop.
