I’ve done it a few times in the app I’m working with and had no idea DISTINCT was not the proper way to address it. I mean, it’s a standard feature, named « distinct », easy to use and it works. It’s on me that I didn’t run an explain on th

To be fair, you wouldn't do that in JS because exceptions have a stack trace, so you don't need to add the context on every return. The downside is that since you don't "need" to catch your exceptions, you don'

Concourse, Drone, Gitlab CI all work fine. I've also heard of GoCD that looks interesting and looks like an actual "Jenkins successor" (more than an alternative IMO), but I've never used it.

I agree on principle, but in practice routers rely on arbitrary strings anyway. I don't see why the verb is not just a part of the route. In my head it's as if we did this: http.Segments("foo", "bar", htt

That was my gut feeling as well, but honestly when using Gin, having methods like .Get(), .Post() etc. has never solved anything for me. Having a single registration method with the method in the string is probably 100% fine.

I’m amazed some people would even consider subscribing to Paramount+… why? It’s yet another streaming platform ; arriving way too late in the game, and they don’t even have an interesting catalog. They just seem dead on arriving.

Ok, but how is that an actual problem? You can use visual context to differentiate both windows, you’re not a visual AI. Also when does that happen that you have 2 terminals that overlap? I’d rather have my UIs be optimized for the 99% of u
