Note that this joy is not unique to tech. Carpenters, farmers, painters, etc, all make things that didn’t exist before. Some of them haven’t heard about Jira.

Off topic, I started working in tech because I enjoyed it. That it was also well paid was a nice coincidence. You can be in the grind and be unaware of that. Of course people like this still suffer due to overexposure to work and js framewo

This looks like something that EU might question or treat as anti competitive perhaps. Is this behavior also present in the EU? Was the legality of this in the EU discussed already?

There are other ways to litigate that the malicious/greedy can use, where MIT offers no protection; e.g. patent trolling.

What I hear is: “The person that profits from employees who don’t prioritize money encourages employees to not prioritize money.” Unsurprising, unhelpful for anyone other than sama, unhealthy for many.

Exactly, should be less. Unless we have some data about DDoS sizes in the early 90s, before the first DDoS has occurred.

But that’s my point, I wouldn’t call it an increase from 0, I’d say 30 years ago that value was NULL - not even a zero sized DDoS has happened yet.
