Since it's only implied how it works and there seems to be some confusion in the comments. It seems like the technique is to simply create a very form-fitting insert which won't fit properly if some device is overlaid onto the mac

I'm not sure that there's been any "promises" to break. Folks have been saying that it's possible but it'll just take time and effort.

Jumping the gun slightly, but TTFX likely about to get a lot better (5x+ improvement in times) in the next version (1.9). Via cachine of the native compiled code. https://github.com/JuliaLang/julia/pull/47184#

Pkg.jl has been such a breath of fresh air vs my prior experience with Python,R, VBA. Built into language, environment management, dependency pinning, SemVer enforcement at the registry level, easy to update as a package developer.

This is my take and when working directly with computer memory/addresses, 0-based is most convenient. For working with data/stuff at a higher level, 1-based is more natural and convenient.

Right, but there is a separate new feature which caches more lowered code. https://julialang.org/blog/2022/08/julia-1.8-highlights/#imp... The core devs also said that they are aiming to cache native c

This is very cool! Are there any libraries to do this with HTML elements? I'd love to do certain site content in a similar way.

I'd also add Pluto notebooks[1], which when deployed[2] powers interactive sites like MIT's Intro to Computational Thinking[3]. I also get a ton of mileage creating Pluto notebooks and sharing the results for others to run or view

I think femtolisp powers Julia's code parsing and helps make Julia so lisp-like. Femtolisp can be run with as an argument to julia: `julia --lisp` > julia --lisp ; _ ; |_ _ _ |_ _ | . _ _ ; | (-||||_(_)|__|_)|_) ;-----

Been really pleased with Julia and happy about the continued progress. Package speedups on Windows are expecially nice for me in this release.
