In your case it would have been easy "I have an exploit that let's me get the e-mail address of every Google+ account". Then they could decide how much that's worth to them. But I also don't see how that would play

Getting that message is not a bad thing as it tells you there's a problem as opposed to just silently doing something you didn't want it to do.

This doesn't even reference Vancouver or Canada at all. It has some interesting information, so thanks for the link, but I don't think it answers the general question.

This is a blog and therefore the author can of course present his opinion in any way he wants, but I'd really like to see this claim backed up somehow. Are there any statistics that show a difference in the distribution of wealth or we

I don't think "most" U.S. companies only give between 0 and 3 holidays. Every U.S. company I ever worked at at least had the following holidays: New Year , Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Day after Than

Serious question: Why would you sign up for the delivery with all of your information but not for the loyalty card?

There are already several reasons mentioned in the comments here: - AFAIK currently the companies don't pay to stop at the MUNI stops. - A working public transportation system for everyone would be greatly preferred to a system that&#x

Even though the amount of taxes you pay might not be that far off from European countries there's a big difference in how much of that money is used on welfare. See this table: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welfare_

Nice, but these bug bounty programs must be one of the cheapest possible ways to "outsource" QA work. Paying a few thousand dollars for a critical security hole? That's extremely cheap compared to a regular QA department. I&#

Same here. Cubicles with walls high enough that I don't constantly see everyone and vice-versa work pretty well for me.

Why do you think most online communities have rules against posting real addresses? Because exactly these kind of things happen.

If it were just the industry standard failure rate then we should have seen a similar pattern of bad reviews for the other recent console launches. I don't know if that happened or not, but I think you're making it a bit too easy

I find it interesting that as of now with 516 5 star reviews and 332 1 star reviews (and very few 2, 3 or 4 star reviews) the average still shows up as 3.5 stars. It's interesting since the lowest value possible is 1, so more realistic

I'm pretty sure a .doc file created fifteen years ago also still renders in Word. Same for a PDF file created 15 years ago or most other formats. So I don't really see your point about open standards in this case.
