Sequoia, NEA, Lux, Insight, Lightspeed, ... these are brand name funds and they were completely duped. Sequoia wrote a glowing, 15,000 word piece about Sam: https://web.archive.org/web/20220922164619/https:/&#

You can't paint it with such a broad brush. Employment laws are very fact specific and differ state to state. California was pretty sure Uber drivers were contractors, they brought an action, and the courts found against them. You real

"open core" != open source. I've been burned by too many YC startups that go away and leave customers stranded to use one for something as important as auth.

Not fully open source and run by a tiny startup that last raised funding 3 years ago means it's way too risky to use in a real product. Firebase and Cognito have issues, but for something as mission critical to a product as auth and id

Craig Wright, the guy who brought this lawsuit, has been suing people left and right for years. He lost a high profile case last year against a podcaster who called him a fraud. The judge ruled against Wright and found that he had "adv

I run an email domain for myself and three friends. I set it up 10+ years ago and originally it was for ~15 people. It's only personal email and no one uses it for marketing or anything even remotely shady. We setup DKIM and all of the

That was a reasonable argument to make in 2013 or 2017. But Gensler's administration alone has issued more than 1,500 actions. At this point, the SEC should be able to codify their interpretations and publish guidance. One example: a d

It's "regulation-by-enforcement". Instead of defining clear rules, the SEC just waits and brings actions against the activities it doesn't want to happen. Sen Toomey and others have called out Gensler for doing this: ht

That doesn't fit the data though. Dobbs v Jackson was in 2022. The increase starts in around 2012. That's before Trump and the current wave of politicians who are behind Dobbs, etc. In 2012, Obama was President, the Paycheck Fair

This article is from 2019 and is out of date. It's saying that Walmart only sells human insulin which isn't true any more. ReliOn NovoLog is a modern, analog insulin and is exactly the same as "regular" NovoLog: https:&

That's incorrect. For a long time, Walmart has sold an older, human insulin. This is a relatively new product which is an analog insulin. It's the same NovoLog that's widely prescribed just with the ReliOn brand stuck on it.

This is really misleading as it ignores the main fraud FTX committed: commingling user funds. Exchanges should never put their users' assets at risk and FTX's T&C said they didn't. If you deposited 1 BTC on their exchange
