Wanted to post this too. That guy is brilliant, and so is OP. I love this stuff.

My thoughts exactly. I might give this a spin. Here's hoping it has "Folder Master" support.

Are laws not simply constantly applicable rules, existing outside of spacetime? How would such a thing evolve?

Check out http://open365.io , which is sort of like ownCloud/nextCloud but also has a web-based LibreOffice interface. It's still in beta and the entire thing is rough though. I haven't had much time to play around

Fair point, though I feel there's still something to my point in the broader context outside of this one post.

I agree with the principle of there being consequences, but what I don't agree with is for the condemnation to be deliberate and for journalism to be used in service of that, rather than impartial reporting. When you describe the conse

Perhaps, but if (and that's a big if) that's the main reason behind these articles, then I'm disappointed in these authors for not being above such pettiness. Or maybe my expectation of more dispassionate articles is naive...

How many doom & gloom articles about Uber have there been this week? I'm undecided on whether it's legitimate, or verging on smear territory.

Exactly, libertarianism cuts both ways. The protective regulations that the companies lobby for wouldn't exist in the first place in a system like that.

Agreed, Vue.js and Riot.js are both brilliant for actually getting things done without having to read a 100 page manual. As for Vue vs Riot, it's subjective, but I'm personally partial to Riot due to its simplicity (albeit with a

Apologies for the late reply. I appreciate the in-depth explanation of what's going on with that code, as I've been under too much pressure to delve into it. Thanks for putting in the effort. I must confess that I sort of lumped s

Yeah, I used to be gross when I was younger (biting my nails, nibbling on pens...), and it didn't prevent me from developing some of the worst allergies imaginable. I can't even eat 90% of food types lest I enter a pseudo-drunken

I love this style. I accidentally "discovered" that pure functions were good through trial and error in my younger days, before I'd looked into functional programming. However, while I'm not necessarily a gigantic fan of

I share your sentiment. I'd been away from .NET/C# for a few years and came back to find that they dialed the abstraction level to 11. I adore C# as a language but I find myself increasingly alienated by its generally accepted cod

Seconded, I adore Riot and it bugs me that it's left out of most benchmarks. FYI Riot's alpha 3.0.0 release is much faster than 2.5.0, and is almost production ready (in fact, I'm using it on a project and it's rather re

I'm a minority who is often "not represented" in things, and that's neither good nor bad - it's simply neutral. The idea of "representation" is rather silly and I'm always amused by how otherwise extr

Is it me, or are a lot of web-based service providers very chatty lately? I won't name and shame any particular ones, but I will say I've found myself regretting signing up for trials of certain services because of the almost syco
