Ofcourse we could make it in theory, but practically that's not the case. You don't just build a Saturn rocket and moonlander in your own factory (inhouse) one day. There is a massive supply chain. The development cost percentage

Push comes to shove, it always tends to come down to short term cost. If it gets the job done, and it's wildly cheaper than the status quo (Net Present Value savings). they'll opt for it. The only reason the trucks aren't ou

Don't think they know yet either. Still early days, they're basically just dangling the carrot out of reach. They're GitHub researchers based on their Twitter.

I would love an electric car (with decent range), I just can't justify those prices to myself.

What I do is of no consequence if that's all hiring managers do. These apps can become systemic.

I agree with you somewhat, in that human rights should be protected and law is just a tool, that I feel should be used to better humanity. There is a philosophical thought behind the whole idea of copyright, I suspect it'd be best to u

Fair enough, if that's is so, there's even less of a case to be made. The person inputting variables (i.e a prompt) into the model that prints out non-fair use outputs would be at fault. The end work would be the actual object sub

By that same logic, would the manufacturer of my monitor be liable for displaying the unlicensed image at my request? It's a tool. The end user, inputting variables into the model is generating that image.

In law there is such a thing as legal person as opposed to natural person. When it comes to commercial law, its provisions tends to relate to legal persons.

What you propose is just a different small set of monopolistic players. Copyright has always been a trade off between the creator and society. It should be enforced the exact same way as it currently is. Fair use is fair use. By your same

Unfortunately management tend to like simplistic solutions that are easily expressed on a PowerPoint presentation. So whilst this whole thing is a topic of discussion, any nuance is lost and will simply become some catchy "all hands on

Very true, I'd argue that's a problem for society as a whole, falling more on civil society, and government. Business can help but at the end of the day, it shouldn't fall on them as the incentives do not align. Simple exampl

I feel there is definitely room for an improvement in work Teams calls culture (replace with your own video call solution). Calls should be less formal, less restrictive (unless it's a formal meeting) basically a call can be left on in

You're basically on the verge of saying I should be forced to go to church as I don't do what's in my best interests. Lol. Sounds like an individuals own problem, not a work must interfere in my personal life problem.

I loved using Edge but their disregard for privacy and lack of control over my own data, was too much. I still part use it on my work machine (it's not my data so I care less).
