Does anybody have any read as to why FDM is only receiving this kind of attention now? It seems that the technology has been there for quite a while (and I mean decades at least). Is it just riding the hype from home 3D printers?

Mishima is unfortunately pretty popular in the alt-rightish kinds of circles too (one of the few articles I could find about him in English were published on Quilette, for instance), but don't let that colour your impression too much.

Yes, of course it is a tooling issue. I apologize in advance for my jadedness, but I see this sort of comment every time someone mentions the possibility that information organization tools could be better: "This is all very nice, but

I would agree, but the feature itself does seem interesting, I am actually looking forward to trying it - to be honest I do feel kind of a weird social pressure on Twitter given that the tweets are somewhat of a public record; it's why

Great question. I would assume there's some skew, but then again it's still a valid comparison even if the results were not to be generalized.

I'm sorry, but as a fellow Python "devop" too, this really reads like empty apologism. >Nothing scales well. scaling requires lots of effort. Sure, just like all PLs have their flaws, and most software has security vulnera

I've tried delays too, but it ends up being almost the same, because I just associate opening reddit/hn/youtube on my computer with the delay and discomfort - so I open it on my phone or another computer. If there's a

You don't understand - we've had DNS for a couple decades now, but I often have to deal with IP addresses directly still. Even if just to check where a given DNS record points to. The problem is that an ipv6 address is not somethi

Heh, way to make this a political issue and shoehorn in a completely unrelated topic. And who even is "they"? The entire tech sector? FAANG? Or just whoever makes the rounds in the news at any given point?
