Yep they do. Provenance and especially "build provenance" are what they are referring to but definitely misspell it. https://slsa.dev/spec/v0.1/provenance

I like how they encourage best practices using a score similar to pub.dev & what npm tried to do years ago. Also the compatibility portion is quite interesting given the evolution of runtimes. I suppose I don't quite understand the

There is rationale in the science article I posted above. The current hypothesis is viral reservoirs that are replication competent. Here is the blurb as well: > Paxlovid targets virus that is rapidly replicating—which may or may not be

Not true. There has been evidence of long term symptoms months after the first wave in 2020. By 2021 established hypotheses of viral persistence existed. Viral persistence(2021): https://www.frontiersin.org/journals/mic

I grew up in Utah which has a certain religious culture mixed in entrepreneurship. Very good salespeople but not always morally right depending on your beliefs. The broadway show “The Book of Mormon” is a good satire as to what I’m talking

People have and have been successful. Especially repurposing HIV/AIDS drugs and ordering Paxlovid from India. Mostly due to USA prices being ridiculously high and insurance companies refusing to prescribe more than a 5 day dose. The ot

In 2021 I presented my doctor a hypothesis that a COVID infection I had recently was persisting in my body leading to long term symptoms. They told me I was completely wrong and that RNA viruses do not do that. Fast forward to today and the

Long COVID is horrible. I have had it for three years. I follow the research quite closely and wrote a book about what we know about it, how it affects someone and their health, and some observations on how absurd of a condition it is from

This might be interesting to you: https://www.acpjournals.org/doi/10.7326/M23-1831 It is suggested that many viruses can do this.

Yes I think this pattern will get much clearer in the near future. We already see these links with chronic illness, depression, etc and gut dysbiosis. One thing I wouldn’t count out is the effect of lingering virus or viral antigens causing

You don’t seem to understand the bill and perhaps people are downvoting because they don’t understand either. I recommend you read it yourself and understand what it is saying. Not to make broad assumptions that “snake oil” will be allowed.

The FDA is not that slow though. People misinterpret that it is actually the trials that are slow. Many things get approved quickly for as large of an enterprise as the FDA.

As it should. That’s the risk they take. Either you have a well designed trial that shows your drug is effective or you don’t. What you don’t do is make lofty promises to vulnerable patients.

What work does the FDA do here? It is the work of large investments or initiatives to prove safety and efficacy and the FDA makes decisions. If anything we live in a world where we need better provisions for these illnesses similar to http

Inhibiting the G9a protein could help stop the COVID-19 virus from hijacking our cells to replicate, offering a new way to treat COVID-19. For Long COVID, targeting G9a might also help alleviate lingering symptoms by potentially reversing t
