Absolutely! Its a matter of dimensions, for wood we simply oversize a few centimeters to burn through to make sure it holds long enough to get out of the building. I assume this indeed takes more space than a fire insulated steel beam. The

“Brain drain” suggests there is a leak, makes not much sense to try attracting new brain without fixing the leak first. Identify who are “brain”, track their needs, provide intervening opportunities when they feel theyre not satisfied.

Do you have references for this? I really wonder if and why this might be true. If it is the working aspect of getting older that lures people to the right, the changes in work-life balance may also influence this.

Nice idea! I have heard of and seen some variable fonts at work in active gifs, but not in a sandbox setting. So I guess I am your target user ;-). The demo works for me on Chrome, but not on Safari (12.0).

Without the checking for trains you could set this up with a reminder with time and location (“on arrival”), once you get the reminder its no big deal to trigger the shortcut (for checking trains etc) manually I guess?
