My mistake - I was editing an email at the time, and looking at the editor and roving over the UI, I thought "attachments, of course!", without actually checking to see whether or not that was part of the editor or not.

Quill is a web content editor, and Squire is an email editor. They are very similar, but slightly different - e.g. Squire supports quoting and changing quote levels, and knows how to handle attachments.

Yes, I saw their price rise - they warned about this a few weeks ago in their newsletter, and they blamed this on supply constraints on IPv4 addresses. The price rise did not effect existing VPSs, and will not effect those who go IPv6 only,

I've not had any issues, so I have no first-hand experience, but they seem pretty active on forums such as Whirlpool. In doing my research there were good reports of them on various hosting forums too.

The Australian equivalent of Digital Ocean, Binary Lane[1] has "BYO ISO" support for FreeBSD VMs - it is not in the list of easy installs, but there is detailed documentation[2] in their support area on how to install it, and they

Thanks for expanding on that - it is disappointing how Apple are releasing less and less with each iteration.

My understanding (which may be out of date) is that this is the complete OS but without the GUI layer - it is the kernel, init system, shell, and user-space CLI utilities. It does not include the GUI shell (Aqua), the GUI libraries (Framewo

I've not used it much, but SQLite Database Browser seems quite good: http://sqlitebrowser.org/ - it is opensource and cross platform.

Command line is definitely best for scriptability and repeatability. The thing I like about ImageOptim is that it runs multiple strategies (for PNG and JPEG at least) and picks the best one. Plus its ease of use for one-off compressions can

If you want a good list of command-line tools to do this sort of thing, have a look at the ImageOptim website ( http://imageoptim.com/ ), which lists all of the command-line tools it combines together.

The two clients I have used (Dropbox and Bittorrent Sync) work on a selective basis - you can download a file on an one-off basis, or keep selected files synced, rather than the whole repository.

I have a friend who says pluralising "octopus" as "octopi" shows ignorance of three languages - English, Latin, and Greek. "Octopus" is of Greek origin and the Greek plural is "octopodes". The Latin p

Nice - but don't you mean Atomic Number, not Atomic Mass? The atomic numbers (i.e. the count of protons in the nucleus) are the nice non-overlapping integers 1-118, whereas the masses are all over the shop, and has overlap with isotope

This is a bit like that fellow who did pixel art by manually writing coloured table cells in HTML in Notepad - very, very impressive, but it does make one wonder a little about the person who has done it.
