I think the code is much more readable and less annoying with inference. And as for your examples, you don't need to know the types - the compiler will complain if you try and use them inappropriately whether the type was explicit

Should have been the Z-8000! I would have liked to have seen Zilog/Motorola be the battle rather than Intel/Motorola. (But maybe that's just my TRS-80 bias showing...)

As a language, JS is what it is - therefore you can use or ignore parts of it, target it from a transpiler, etc. It's Node, its de-facto execution environment on the server side, that's the travesty - a hardly-glorified version of

And, if they did hang out at Radio Shack, they would have come across the venerable Minimus-7 - one of the first examples ever of a high-performing micro speaker with a sealed-enclosure design, that still stands up to the test of time. htt

They weren't using the POTS line for power (though I remember holding the leads when a ring signal came in - quite a shock! - seemed like the NYC local-loops must have had a RI# of about 20 at the time...) -- and they weren't just

It always struck me as odd that many programming languages have standard printers that will output any data structure expressible in the language, but they don't have accompanying readers - this forces one to roll one's own or use

You can do amazing things with Forth for its footprint ( [compile-time] forms, etc.) - but it's not dynamic, it's typeless.

To what degree can one expect to extrapolate this behavior up/down/across the taxonomy of species? (I assume the more predatory, the more likely this would evolve.) Once you have a theory of mind, you can move from seemingly-intel
