Great it worked out for you, but if it wasn't such a pain to upgrade (I know this from personal experience), wouldn't there be lesser FUD?

I really like absinthe with apollo/subscripions on the frontend for realtime updates.

As long as apollo the client stays good and opensource, does it really matter if the devs also start doing more commercial projects?

Haven't used paw, but agreed with above about Insomnia, and: - GraphQL support is pretty decent - Copy as CURL is awesome

Maybe it's because the only APIs I've dealt with are kind of terrible, leads a bad taste in my mouth.

This is also a painpoint for me, I have an app that doesn't use much memory, but can use multiple cores/threads.. but most providers sell you on RAM, not CPU.

Also the memory usage is killer.

Yes, but it's always nice when a project gives a tldr on their blog about what they are.

Yeah, I liked pgadmin3 but don't like pgadmin4. I like a GUI for traversing and understanding table structure, without having to do \d table. I use cli for everything else. Will give dbeaver a try.

What about new users? Wouldn't you want to keep improving to attract new users? Depends on your market though I guess.

I'm currently evaluating testcafe which is pretty nice, and headless chrome was easy to setup. I'm interested to see what people recommend for browser testing, I'm also using preact.

I just got the same setup this week. Docker multistage builds are amazing and make builds super small and awesome. You can ship releases without having to install Erlang or elixir on the imag, and just use what distillery has. Distillery re

I use Elixir and Absinthe, and was very skeptical as well until the past month about GQL. I'm now completely sold, for a JS powered app, using Preact and Apollo-client makes working with the backend incredibly easy, and realtime via su

I've been using Insomia for a while, and really, really like it (hence why I submitted this post here :D). The GraphQL support looks good, and will try it out with our backend.

Agreed, discover weekly is great, I have a couple of different tastes in music depending on what I'm doing, and each discover weekly/daily is separated into genre. It's great.

Great. 1.5 which was just released really helps with pattern matching failures and gives suggestions. I really like testing with elixir.

I use it for my own small startup + my work uses it as well. Couldn't recommend it hard enough. Elixir 1.5 (just released) improves Developer Experience and makes things a little easier to debug. Highly recommended, but as always ignor

Still waiting for the threadrippers, excited to see the benchmarks and if it will be worth buying. Will be using it for mainly developing elixir applications, which use all cores.

Circle 2.0 solves these problems, I have a docker images I pull from (app/postgres), tests complete in about 10-13 seconds. And it's all by YML.
