My country is currently handing out universal income, which I am vehemently against. Taking money out of the pockets of taxpayers and handing it over to those too lazy to work, additionally disincentivizing them to work, is one of the worst

Oldest I've seen is a 15 years old XC hardtail that has been put to sleep only because its owner slammed it into a tree opening a hole in the top tube. No human was hurt, fortunately, rest of the bike was still in great condition. Curi

Ride an alu hardtail fast and hard, then tell me how your joints feel. Steel flex is real.

Considering how old they age as the technology advances, yes. Nothing stops you from riding one until the wheels fall off though, just like any other bike made with any other material.

You don't seem very informed to me. Any kind of deceleration will exert some wear on the tyres. While engine braking it is not about the weight of the engine used to slow the vehicle down, but rather forcing the wheels directly connect

Regenerative or not, while braking you are still inflicting the whole weight of your car onto the tyre threads.

For MTBs, a steel hardtail does feel very, very different from an aluminum one. Steel feels springy and just absorbs a lot of vibrations. You can feel it in your ankles after a ride. Definitely there is a large difference between steel/

True. But carbon MTBs can last a decade of abuse.

Carbon MTBs are pretty strong. Just don't clamp the frame so much you are crushing it and avoid direct rock hits, which will damage any material anyway.

You can't engine-brake with an electric engine (with a combustion car, downshifting will force your car to be slower when going downhill, basically) so in mountain regions with ups and downs there's way more braking leading to mas

Apple uses the excuse of security to hold a monopoly. You are shown that this is by no means as secure as they want you to believe. Then you argue that "of course, with a market that big!" So basically you are proving that Apple u

CICO is thermodynamics. People argue against it because it means that to lose weight, you either burn more or, drum roll, get in less. There is really no way out of physics, argue all you want.
