But eBay is just bad company with a bad reputation. Why would they buy it instead something like Etsy or make their own thing? If you would ask me what are the worst companies from the “old guard” I would name eBay and PayPal as prime suspe

Whether is a pretext or not is less important. I don’t mind if the U.S is overthrowing a dictatorship for his own interests while using democracy and human rights as a pretext if at least is trying to enforce a human rights and democracy ag

Not really. They realised they acted too soon. Give them some time until the market “consolidates” and they will change again their policy. Why would they want someone else to develop competing clients?

I don’t get why people are so surprised. Didn’t they learn anything from Twitter APIs and the like. The APIs are open as long as they serve the short term problem then Anthropic builds the features people actually use (more or less) and ban

Codex is just better than Claude but Claude is faster and has the better UI for vscode. That’s why I use Claude as main coder with codex(5.4 with xhigh effort) as mcp reviewer etc. It is clear to me that codex is a better programmer but the

In reality you are always on a time budget that is correlated with the output of the software you develop.(I.e is it worth it your time?) I’ve found out that the most important thing is to get feedback early even from yourself using whatev

It’s not always about money. It’s also about the time of the developer. Even for a hobby project you may burn out before to actually deliver it.

I think they will settle that Iran won’t reuse whatever they have of that nuclear fuel if the U.S drops the nukes on the Iranian nuclear sites. Iran may also think twice before rejecting a deal in which they agree to not acquire a nuclear w

I don't think they would be so much more expensive but they would be less profitable for sure and perhaps less "innovative" as a big chunk of the profit will go into regulation stuff.

You can launch a new product in one month instead of 12 months. I think this works best for startups where the risk tolerance is high but works less than ideal for companies such Amazon where system failure has high costs
