I now see the ball I found and believe that the ax/yxa is an axe in the ball but has been changed in the OP ball to another variation. Off to find that variation via the other changes like volcano etc.

It will be faster if you send the request closer to the origin of the user. You could push the site closer using something like the edge network from google or other providers https://peering.google.com shows how google does it
