I am appreciative they did that. I hope the USB-C ports on the laptop can handle the highest charging available today (~100 watts, not the new spec 200+ watts).

I agree and I suspect this was less of a problem for people with a 15/16" MBP where the edge of the laptop was likely past their leg.

That was a really nice touch and not too bright. I stumbled on a Dell USB-C charger with a white LED. It doesn't change colors and it's bright enough to light a room.

Sometimes I wonder if folks use rose colored glasses when thinking about MagSafe. I don't miss MagSafe and I enjoy the interchangeability of chargers. I could not keep my 13" MacBook plugged in while using it on my lap. The MagSaf

If you're a Linux person, just skip all the other non-sense and create a systemd-networkd file. It's by far the simplest solution I've used, and doesn't require goofy unit files to start/stop/restart via wg too

Or in other words, Intel fell into the same management trap as other legacy tech providers. They focused on paying industry wide 'median' salaries and bled talent.

I broke a Pixel and went back to my spare iPhone 7. I thought the spam calls and texts would send me past the edge of sanity. I suffered through that for six months and went back to another Pixel.

I think it's not appreciated enough how much they got right by putting the fingerprint sensor on the back in a natural position to touch and hold the phone. You are correct, it is unlocked usually before the screen is visible.

Neat. When I look at old pictures like the one in the article, I wonder, is it foggy, smokey, or just an artifact of the photograph?

Time to bring back ISP shaming. Netflix would notify Verizon users in the app that Verizon's slow peering was degrading their watch experience. https://bgr.com/general/netflix-vs-verizon-network/

PSA: Careful when you cancel a credit card or pay off a loan early. The average length of credit is a factor on your credit report, and a very short term will hurt that factor.

The EAP660 is pretty good. I replaced a few mesh routers with a single EAP660 on a second floor ceiling. I like that they allow you to run a single one without a controller. I'm happy to no longer tie my router to my access point as it
