I am liking PopOS. Used i3wm for a long time but for work it's nice to be able to easily turn tiling on/off if I'm doing a presentation or something.

Don't do anything without buy in from mgmt. I'd come up with some sort of plan, give it 6 months and be prepared to bail if there is no action on your plan. I was brought on board to 'modernize' a similar application.

Why bother emulating running Linux (and badly at that) when you can run native Linux? Try something like PopOS... If you don't game its great.

What horrible software... I switched to running Teams in Edge on Linux awhile ago to get camera blur and it's just as bad as the native client was...

All cars are getting bigger. There used to be a handful of us at work who all drove Subaru's and we parked them next to each other in chronological order. Was crazy to see just how much bigger the newer cars were.

Love reading an entire article on Twitter. I'm sure that's what Tim Berners-Lee had in mind when he was coming up with the Internet.

I'm not aware of any laptops with layouts like this. An external keyboard is the answer - ZSA is another option: https://www.zsa.io/

If they made an affordable, electric truck about the size of the original SR-5/Tacoma with a simple interior I could easily clean I'd buy one. This will end up being another over-sized, over-priced American mess that no one actua

They should recycle all the cardboard and packing materials then ship usually when shipping something already in a box. Box in a box with more paper/plastic. Thanks Amazon.

AWS developer tools like CodeCommit are just horrible. Seems like they crank out something with just the minimal amount of features to say they are competitive.

After a long time Fedora and Ubuntu user I recently switched to Pop!_OS (Ubuntu based) and really like it. The 'tiling windows' GUI is very neat (I previously used i3). I run it on 3 of my Lenovo boxes: an ancient T420 Thinkpad,
