Helicopter? This is the problem with the App store - too many clones of old flash games that have been around for ages. I'm sorry but cloning a game that already exists certainly shows good timing and business sense but is not the same as a

I think this is the correct way to look at. a CPU is vastly slower at performing rainboow attacks than a GPU. Many of the largest bitcoin rigs could probably find a SHA-1 collision in a matter of months.

Clearly the Apple koolaid causes your hands to shrink. That is the only conclusion I can make from this blog post.

I wonder how many members of the jury, including Hogan, owned iPhones?

That teardown is crazy. I was definitely surprised. Not the most professional tear-down but very funny how they keep repeating each other and then seem genuinely surprised. I don't know about "best tear down ever" though...

This doesn't make any sense. AFAIK App.net did not exist until 2012. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

I still won't be paying for it. May as well have raised the price as far as I'm concerned. Edit: Obviously being downvoted by people who have wasted $50.

This is great. I much prefer this experience for viewing than the zooming ones that people posted right after it came out. This seems much more immersive. Great work!!

This is a great idea! Those with 3D printers can get their parts almost for free and those without can pay Shapeways a "reasonable" amount. As the quality of 3D printing improves I can see lots of companies doing this, especially for legacy

Couldn't agree more. I think this actually already occurring. I have funded 13 projects since January, 2012 and in the 9 months since I have funded those I have only received 2 of them. This already makes me hesitant to fund more projects.

Quality vs expense primarily. It had many of the same problems I experienced with my ToM. Not being able to print thin enough walls, bad overhangs, and random problems where it would just stop printing. We had (has since been replaced) one

I don't understand how it is possible that Stripe is not allowed to have this functionality but Square is. Certainly Square does not give 30% to Apple for every swipe. The cross-platform bit is interesting though. This should send a clear m

I've said it before and I will say it again. Apple needs to compete on, and thus focus on the quality of their products. Not sue everyone else into the ground because they feel threatened. Apple will just keep squeezing out incremental chan
