I thought the pandemic was technically over, and Covid is now considered endemic.

I'm basing this off of apartments in NYC. I often see ~$600k co-cops with $800 monthly co op fees (of which half is maintenance half is taxes). That seems low to me compared with similarly priced homes elsewhere.

Oh I see what you're saying. So you always want 65, but if you put it on auto the heat will end up turning on in the summer?

You can't set a temperature range, like "keep my house between 65 and 70"? So when it's cold it would heat to 65, when it's hot it would cool to 70, and between 65-70 it would do nothing? That's not very smart.

The person you replied to asked what the problem is with 4k displays not 2k. The issues you mention do sound very annoying though.

I haven't used windows in a long time, but I thought there were still rough edges there, like certain programs (even certain windows menus) not scaling correctly and rendering tiny. I'm currently using 2x 27 inch 4k displays in sc

The housing away from the city still needs to be pretty dense, otherwise you're building a ton of infrastructure to transport few people (or people need to drive / take the bus to the train station which isn't the end of the

Yeah sure. What I'm getting at is that it's not necessarily unjust to ask someone in a wheelchair to go somewhere in person for their job, and I'm not convinced most people in a wheelchair would see it that way.

Tons of remote companies are US only, or even "one timezone in the US" only. Apple going remote doesn't mean the existing teams US teams would become international.

Yeah maybe. I'd be curious to know how big of a factor it actually is. Would an extraverted person using a wheelchair prefer to work from home, or go in? I'd be hesitant to assume something like that is necessarily the biggest fac

People in wheelchairs leave their homes all the time. Apple has buses and offices that I'm sure are wheelchair accessible. Apple probably offers pretty good insurance to get a motorized wheelchair if needed. If someone really can'
