The MSP430 has a constant generator register, which depending on the access mode used will generate offsets and zero. I'm sure there are a few others.

The late 2013 drives at 30Hz over HDMI, and 60Hz over DP if you are running Windows. I don't think the HDMI hardware is new enough in the 2012 for HDMI, though in theory display port might work if the drivers get enabled for it.

If you are operating in California, push back. Non-enforceable doesn't mean they can threaten all they want. Note that good companies clearly spell out the CA legal section which covers this. Bad ones try to hide it.

Option A will disable the same-disk Time Machine snapshots feature, while option B will slow down git. Personally, I've never encountered this issue and I rebase frequently.

OpenJDK Hotspot has a relatively mature ARM port. Due to "embedded" licensing it's not been supported from Oracle, but you can use it.

With TrueTime you are trading some latency on concurrent operations for correctness. Other structures such as CRDTs/lattices might be more appropriate for your use case.

Both Rust and C/C++ sit squarely in the "no GC" or "optional GC" camp, which has very important implications for certain applications which strongly favor that compared to a generalized system-wide GC.

I second the recommendation for Duo. Its a great application, and if you're looking for adding 2FA to your own systems (IT or otherwise) has a multitude of interaction options (secondary password LDAP, etc).

Its not getting worse, its just more pervasive. Quality tends to be lower than hardwired implementations ("because we can fix it at manufacture time!"), primarily due to the rush to first to market.

Twitter (San Francisco, Sunnyvale, Seattle) is hiring. While well beyond the scrappy startup phase, we are looking for a broad range of skills, from front end, mobile, operations, SRE, and backend positions. See the job postings at https:&

Finagle and "util" both have 2.10 builds available. As for bridging Twitter Future with (now) Scala Future, that should be coming soon, once the execution context stuff is squared away.

JVM deployment is a little more involved, but due to the use of the virtual machine, can allow for hot code swaps. However, this isn't cleanly baked into many application architectures, so YMMV.

As someone who has equipment there, I agree. Its not a datacenter. However the pricing is not bad, so its a real get what you pay for.

Zipkin depends on the services in the stack to be able to capture trace identifiers, record and send to the collector timing information, and forward trace identifiers for outbound calls. This is easy in Finagle as all of this logic is alre

Yes, if you "go off the reservation" and outside of the Twitter Future, you will lose your automatic trace identifiers. This isn't a unique problem, but using consistent libraries goes a long way (which works well internally

Bangkok keeps on extending its free bus service, and its quite extensive. Note that the bus system is essentially classed, since only the old, non-airconditioned, slow buses are free (and you can pay for better transit options).
