Why on earth would a Rolex AD want to sell watches online? The regular pieces e.g Submariners are out of stock 99% of the time, and once stock comes in there's waitlist with 500 people. For the more expensive ones that are in stock, I

I think that's the whole point of luxury watches. No rolex owner is under the illusion that they are somehow intrinsically worth so much.

The vast majority of people do not have to deal with these concerns. The odds of you losing your device are way higher than Apple getting hacked by orders of magnitude. If you are someone who falls into these professions then you probably s

Agree. OP messed up. How would anyone not bother to set a password or "find my" on a $1200 Macbook? That's just negligence and complaining to Apple about it is a bit silly. I haven't set up a Macbook in a while, but I be

> You’d think this MIT graduate would wise up, but he never did I don't think it's lack of wisdom but rather pathological hubris and a God-Complex. I've met kids like SBF at MIT. Very smart but at some point they think the

Time will tell, but I think Tim Cook is the greatest CEO of our generation. Yes, Steve, Musk, Zuck, Gates etc are genius inventors, entrepreneurs and designers; but in terms of executions and day-to-day CEO stuff, I can't think of anyo

I think it a problem of size. Having worked in a big tech company before, I saw first hand how sometimes inefficacy can creep in. It's very hard to execute quickly in new areas once a company gets too big. Size, bureaucracy and politic

In other news, water is wet. My guess is manufacturers are so drawn towards touchscreens cause they can change things with software updates. From a user POV it's pretty obvious that physical buttons are better.

I'll look into crypto. It's frustrating that there is no painless way to do this. My app is in a weird place where it doesn't generate much income/traffic for me to invest significant amounts of my time coding up payment
