The pinging effect is due to it being improperly lubricated, not a defect of the keyboard itself. Just in case you were wondering.

The Turing Test is a thought experiment, not an actual test. No machine will ever pass because that is fundamentally a misunderstanding of the Turing Test.

I agree that they are a package deal. It would have been better to separate Python and include it with something like Ruby then link offsite for both of those languages. To say that it's completely unrelated to the web I think is an ov

Which one? Python? It's commonly used for writing backends. Not everyone lives eats and sleeps JavaScript all day. You could also use it to write a web crawler, or a desktop application that emails you reminders. Who said that the web

It seems more likely to me that they will use this technology to create smaller devices with batteries that last the same length.

I get so sick of listening to people be so negative in the comments on this site. Can't you think of anything better to say than that it "sucks"

If you have not read Don Norman's The Design of Everyday Things I highly recommend it.

They wrote some article about Eric Schmit being a sexist asshole the other day (maybe yesterday) and low and behold the senior editor was talking trash to people in the comments section. It was a flimsy terrible article that I honestly felt

This sort of negativity is not just unhealthy, it can make it really difficult for beginners to figure out where to start and realize that it actually is okay to start pretty much anywhere. When I was learning how to code, every single day

I would say just include a code inside the box that you can type in to validate your review as an actual purchaser. Then Amazon could heavily weight these reviews, at least for products known to be prone to scam reviews.

Interesting to read that. I have always thought of CS as a discipline that involves creating and testing competing explanatory models of the world similarly to the way that a lawyer might construct an argument to represent a series of event

I wouldn't be so quick to write those majors off, they involve massive amounts of reading and writing; both skills that I heard many engineering students say they felt they were lacking in. Furthermore both of those majors score highly

I interned in a law firm my entire senior year and now hold a BA with majors in Government and Philosophy. These experiences would leave me well primed to go to law school which was my original intention after graduation. After spending tim

To be fair, I have done that before when just messing around on my own late at night. After working for as long as I had been I felt like reading my own code was like wading through sludge and my eyes just didn't catch the error. I was

Most of these incidents just sound like guys who were genuinely trying to be nice or funny, but because anything can be seen through the lens of sexism, this woman took the opportunity to consider herself oppressed.
