Must be a California issue, never had any issues with Comcast except during the pandemic when everyone was working from home & their network couldn't keep up. In 15 years, that was my only complaint

ok but what's the upfront and maintenance costs for the buried bricks & pipes system? LNG is standardized, it's readily available, and existing infrastructure already exists. how is this new system better?

pihole + adblocker apps and you'll basically never see ads - there's a YouTube specific one I like - rethink (phone) - adguard (computer) ublock was nice but there are more comprehensive solutions

kind of depends on your individual definition of "retro" - for me it's anything prior to win95. retro computing doesnt make me feel either older or younger, it makes me appreciate how far computing has come in my lifetime.
