FWIW, in zsh, and probably other terminals, you can bind ctrl+v to be paste. Many terminal emulators also allow you to bind ctrl+v to paste, although that may interfere with applications that use ctrl-v for something else. Kitty has a copy_

That's just not true. Distributed software is much more complicated and difficult than non-distributed software. Distributed systems have many failure modes that you don't have to worry about in non-distributed systems. Now maybe

Is running multiple nodes a typical way to run Jellyfin through? I would expect that most Jellyfin users only run a single instance at a time.

There seem to be some misunderstandings in this: > If your application fully manages this file, the assumption must be made that your application is the sole owner of this file, and nobody else will tinker with it while you are writing d

Using postgres would make it significantly more complicated for Jellyfin users to install and set up Jellyfin. And then users would need to worry about migrating the databases when PostgreSQL has a major version upgrade. An embedded databas

If there is no treatment available, then yes, the standard treatment may be nothing, or possibly just trying to make the patient more comfortable until they die.

Unfortunately, that is also typical. I've seen it take longer than that for AWS to update their status page. The reason is probably because changes to the status page require executive approval, because false positives could lead to bad

Rust doesn't quite hit all of those, but it hits a lot of them. It's syntax is significantly different from python, but it does have operator overloading. It's performance is comparable to go, and has good concurrency support

Ideally, for getting good information, you compare to both. Because you also want to know if your treatment is more effective than a placebo.

Ok, suppose the current standard treatment is A. You have a new treatment B that is 100x cheaper than B, and doesn't trigger allergic reactions that some people have to A. You test against A, and the B group has slightly worse outcomes

That is what happens if C is developed after B becomes the standard treatment, D after C etc. Suppose D is only slightly less effective than C, but more effective than A, and B, but 100x cheaper, and/or has less bad side effects. If yo

There is a standard in RFC 9535 (JSONPath)[1]. But as far as I can tell, it isn't very widely used, and it has more limited functionality than some of the alternatives. [1]: https://datatracker.ietf.org/doc/html&#x
