What sort of error did you see, if any? I had a similar issue, but a wiping the disk and setting up partitions again fixed it.

This is the exact thing I was wondering about. As far as I understood, they flashed GApps, even though GApps is not part of the default installation. I wonder what the findings would've been like on LineageOS without the GApps.

Niagara, no matter how nice, collects way to much data for my liking. It's a good thing that you mentioned Ratio too, because it also lets me accomplish the same thing while also being privacy oriented. Thanks!

Actually, I'm using Ubuntu Budgie with a 120 Hz 1080p monitor, it's very responsive. Very much what you would expect these days from any desktop.

I've seen the old Budgie too, it really wasn't good back then. Now it's more or less bug-free, alhough, I personally don't use multiple workspaces, so can't comment on that.

Case in point. Pop really is the pinnacle of GNOME Ubuntu derivatives IMO, I've run it for years. And if it wasn't for the 18.04 base of Elementary, Budgie would've slipped under my radar completely.
