The software is versioned with numbers, the codenames are for releases which could have version number ranges, or help differentiate stable from testing, etc. The developers and users can better make the distinctions with codenames.

I will be in startup school. I'm interested in a Non-commercial capacity, just a simple 3D printable case to support open hardware.

Are these the same form factor as the U2F ZERO? I'd make some enclosures for it if I knew the dimensions.

I'm curious to see what happens if a company like Huawei enters the US networking hardware market after cutting its teeth. Are we supposed to go with Cisco out of patriotism? Is the general public going to petition the government for p

Something not often considered is playing on an awkward silence between the tit-for-tat. If you let things stick in the air a bit longer sometimes signaling from the other party can help you find that sweet spot.

It's actually pretty similar to the Heroku free tier dyno "sleep" till there's a trigger, but it's stateless. Different pricing, different ways of conceptualizing but from a user perspective that's a pretty goo

If you pull an application apart and squeeze it into managed services, your costs can drop by an order of magnitude depending on your availability requirements, engineering related costs, etc. A good article written by Spotinst's CEO [

Awesome! While I was at AWS Summit in NY, I asked a round circle of AWS ECS/EKS users (Container orchestration products) about thoughts on a Docker container service that could execute like a FaaS product and there seemed to be none an

I'm under the impression OP is asking about a distro for their laptop or desktop. My question to you is, why use an old kernel + packages when you could have newish ones with a reasonable degree of trust? Is avoiding the extremely rare

I think running a long term support distro is silly for non critical devices. I personally use Debian Testing, maybe take this chance to try it? I've never had a stability issue across the 4 different devices I use.

First, I'd like to apologize for being rude and negating your statement. There's nuance to the problem; we shouldn't just tit-for-tat dismiss each other. The U.S. welfare is multifaceted. Try to shift to a stack oriented mode

I don't disagree except for the tiny edgecase where graphs are useful. The SQL/ NoSQL tradeoffs are well documented, saying NoSQL is hyped and volatile is silly.
