I appreciate this. I’ve had arguments about how automation is replacing jobs - most people I discuss this with are thinking automation needs to be something out of the Jetsons, but the reality is that technology replaces jobs in a more mund

This mirrors my experience. My theory is that YouTube falsely equivocates a video’s relevance to you with your desire to receive notifications about it - e.g. whether you clicked the little ‘bell’ when subscribing. This isn’t what we expect

Thanks. The comment I replied to seemed to be lamenting issues with an open market insurance system, which to my knowledge, Medicare for All is not. Am I missing something?

I haven’t done a ton of research - do you know of any big healthcare bills have been proposed that resolve these issues?

Such a great breakdown - thanks for this. Will you up an essay or blog post about this so I can link to it and share it? All the articles I’ve read don’t really get down to brass tacks like this.

Great article but the title is a little misleading. I was expecting analysis of the fact-checking culture in the modern day, the “fall” part in particular. The article ends up mostly being a history of facts in journalism.

Sure, but it seems to me that most can afford roughly one iteration at most. I would argue that being able to roll fair dice multiple times is still better than having weighted dice that you only get to roll once.
