When multitasking the black line splits the bar into two so, Apple could reasonably just put the camera icon on the correct side. When the app is in overlay mode, there is a bar at the top with the grabber, the icon could go on it as well.

Put the camera dot on the side of the app using it. Also is this really the issue? You can have an app voice recording and even quit it and it’s just fine.

Oddly enough, when I wrote uLisp as µLisp, the project lead edited my post to use uLisp instead.

I mean I dislike PDFs for the exact reasons you cite, they don't reflow and fonts are embedded and chosen by the creator. Occasionally these choices can be good, but often I want to resize the text-size to make reading more comfortable

I think that’s a clarity issue on the page. They stated several times in the discord that buying an ST3 licence now covers ST4 as well.

I think the actual problem that is being described is mostly solved by the device-independent pixel, where the size of `16 px` varies based on the device and doesn't actually correspond to 16 physical pixels (imagine that on a Retina d

To add on to that, The only “important” accented letter is “é”. In most cases “è” is completely redundant as it follows the rule that if the next vowel is a silent “e” then the current “e” takes the \ε\ sound. “Ê” makes the same sound but i

I use the iPad. I mean the competition is basically iPad vs ePaper like Remarkable or Sony DPaper. IMO iPad best because you can do so much on it than just reading or writing and the price is similar, but some people really like EInk.

I think the idea is to use blockchain as the market for ontology and data; as compared to like Google which ultimately keeps the training data and results to itself.

Yeah, Japanese is kinda like French in that there are a lot of homophones which aren't homonyms. The spelling is used for ideographic differentiation.

Honestly, I think Swift UI's mess of syntax really makes the case for lisp. Four different function calling syntaxes? Trailing function calls? Jesus Christ.

I hear Common Lisp is quite good for this. > but for fun, he spent €100 (US$110) on a Raspberry Pi, a single-board hobbyist computer that runs Linux and has Mathematica 12 pre-installed. Did he get scammed?

I mean the -if vs -if-not is really more for typing convenience, the current CL standard actually recommends against -if-not functions because you can do composition `(remove-if (complement #’predicate) sequence)`
