Your argument is a valid reason why this bug wasn't fixed when the game was first released. But no crunch lasts 8 years. And complaint about loading times were everywhere for all this time.

It could've been waved off if there wasn't single player part of that same game that loaded few times faster.

That's assuming each player only logs once in a month, which is definitely not the case.

Game was out for almost EIGHT YEARS by the time this bug was fixed. There can be no reasonable explanation for them not fixing that. 5 minute load every time you try to go into multiplayer. The amount of revenue lost to that one single bug

I'm interested whether it would be a good idea to implement a Vulkan driver for such GPU via emulating TMUs and ROPs in software, and it might not even matter that much since modern rendering pipelines are more and more compute reliant

AFAIK Big.Little-like architectures weren't a thing in PC space only because of the scheduling problems, which is mostly a software limitation. > I hope some competitors have written some related papers. You should read this:) ht

This isn't enough to win. Ukrainian Ground Forces were 200k at the beginning of this war, for comparison. And Ukraine have been conducting mobilization since the war started, so it's larger by a lot now and will grow with each day

You should check your sources. It is closer to 90% of russian forces that are capable of offensive action than to 9%. Military doesn't consist entirely of troops, the bulk of their fleet is useless for example(it can't move into B

They don't have sheer numbers unless they go full mobilization. They already put almost entire Russian ground force, which is 280k, into battle almost 200k of it went into Ukraine with initial invasion force. And since then they'v

I was talking about VK_NV_ray_tracing precisely, which is proprietary Vulkan extension. And I thought there was a similar situation with DXR(at first proprietary Nvidia extension and then common standard), but I was mistaken.

We got much more programmable GPUs over the years, but first consoles with GPUs that could conceivably run Nanite came out only in 2013. And Nanite really loves streaming of a lot of small data packages from drive, and for this SSD is reall

You confused New Shepard and New Glenn. New Shepard uses BE-3 and performs sub-orbital flights for rich tourists. New Glenn is heavy reusable orbital rocket that uses BE-4.
