I never do "rm prefix " in a dir. I always do "rm ./aDir/prefix " for example. This assures I'm not globbing outside a directory (or just a directory) and tries to help assure I'm not shooting my own

Your db migrations may support updates from #1 to #99 but your OS does not directly support updates of MySQL 5 to MySQL 8 with issues. For example there are plenty of examples of deprecated my.cnf configuration values. Similarly APT on Ubun

What maintenance?! I just bump the docker-compose.yml version numbers and Stop/Start the service. It's very painless... My cellphone has more frequent updates than Gitlab does.

Not a fan, I have tried say formatting a large JSON API results (with no formatting) and it just runs out of memory because: 1) the string is huge like 64mb+ 2) it tries to do syntax highlighting and blows up big time on the resulting forma
